Failure to ovulate is the most common cause of infertility in women. Reproductive problems are a Common problems with a woman's reproductive organs, like uterine fibroid, endometriosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) can worsen with age and affect fertility. Although the average chance of falling pregnant any given cycle among fertile couples is 20 percent, patients with unexplained infertility have only a one to four percent chance without treatment. That percentage doesn't offer much hope to those with unexplained infertility.
